Get Clear About Your Goals
Most people don't know if their content is achieving anything, and you know why? Because they never decided what they wanted that piece of content to achieve! What do you want your content to do? What do you want each thing you write to accomplish? If you don't know, then it can never get you the results you want because you don't know what you want. Lesson 1 is all about setting a goal for each thing you write so you know where you're going with it.
Get Clear About Your Brand
Dolly Parton said, "Figure out who you are and then be that on purpose." What is your mission, values and style? What’s the look, tone, feel and vibe of your brand or business? If you don’t know who you are, your content will be confusing at best and break trust at worst. Lesson 2 is all about getting clear on who you are so that you can be intentional about how you’re positioning your content.
Get Clear About Your Audience
If you don’t know who you’re talking to, well, you can’t talk to them! Who is your ideal customer? What are their thoughts and feelings, problems and frustrations, desires and goals? When you understand how your audience thinks, feels and acts, you can create copy and content that connects with them and builds trust. That’s important because people buy from those they know, like and trust. Lesson 3 is all about knowing who you’re talking to in your content.

At this point in the course, it's time to clarify what you want to convey. What is your content centered around? Which topics are you an expert in or deeply passionate about? What solutions, steps, plans or stories do you employ to assist people? And the pivotal question: What content do you give away for free and what do you charge for? Lesson 4 is going to break all this down for you.
Create Your Content Plan
It’s time to put it all together! We'll build you a full content plan that not allows you to see what is going where and when. And it’s also going to show you how your content drives the goals, results and business growth you want in your business. Copy and content (words!) are what move people through the funnel in your business. Lesson 5 is going to show you how to make sure you know how to monetize the effort you’re putting into creating content.
